The Marcus Foundation, The Marcus Niziak Childhood Brain Tumor Fund, is a public foundation established in the memory of Mark S. Niziak, Jr. ("Marcus") who died of a brain tumor shortly after his fifth birthday.  The purpose of The Foundation is to promote and fund clinical research relating to the treatment of childhood brain tumors.

Throughout Marcus' three year battle with the disease that eventually claimed his life, his strength and perseverance were an inspiration to his family and friends as well as to the myriad of physicians and other medical personnel who treated him.  Following an eighteen hour surgery, his family was told that he would not walk for a year, if at all.  He was walking in one month and running in two.  The Foundation is a fitting tribute to a courageous little boy.

Please help us continue the battle that Marcus so valiantly fought.

Thank you,

The Marcus Foundation
