Important Announcement

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE MARCUS FOUNDATION

The Marcus Foundation is pleased to announce that last month it provided a $50,000 grant to the Massachusetts General Hospital ("MGH") to support both brain tumor research being conducted at MGH, as well as to fund the Marcus Fund for Families, which helps defray the cost to families with children being treated at MGH for brain tumors and other neurological diseases.

With the government cutting funding for ongoing cancer research, hospitals, such as MGH, must rely on private support to enable its research efforts to continue. That is why the Marcus Foundation provided the most recent donation and hopes to continue that with an additional grant later this year.

To assist us in this endeavor, we will be holding another cash- raffle fundraiser in the coming months. We ask that you look out for the announcement and share it with family and friends, as the need for your support is truly critical.

In the interim, we thank you for your past support and extend our best wishes for a healthy and happy New Year.

Sincerely,

Mark Niziak
President, The Marcus Foundation

36th Annual Tony C Open

The 36th Annual Tony C Open was played on September 4, 2025, at the Easton Country Club. The tournament has been held each year by the Cellucci Family in memory of Tony Cellucci, with the proceeds benefitting the Marcus Foundation for the past 32 years.

Each year the tournament is an extraordinary event, and this year was no different.

Originally scheduled for May 22nd (the event has historically been held on the Thursday before Memorial Day), but due to very inclement weather, the tournament was postponed until September. Despite the rescheduling, the turnout for this year's event was, and always is, impressive. The original date had a field of 144 golfers scheduled to play (a complete sellout). For the rescheduled event, the Cellucci Family was very proud and pleased to field 133 golfers.

The support of both the Tony C Open and the entire Cellucci Family are vitally important to the Marcus Foundation in funding grants for pediatric brain tumor research being conducted at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

The long-standing support of the Cellucci Family is greatly appreciated and is crucial to the continued viability of the Marcus Foundation.

Our thanks to Michael, Tony, Peter and the entire Cellucci Family for their continued support.

Sincerely,

Mark Niziak
President, The Marcus Foundation
